October 25, 2005 Some joys and sorrows that were shared this month. Alice was very happy to be selling the hardware store. Her grandson is being married, She just came back from a good vacation
Our Martha won the #1 Prize for the prettiest flip flops at District II Meeting. Her 40th wedding anniversary is in November.
Karen was excited about Westfield shopping night. She felt that it was going well. She brought a guest, Ann. As of last March, Ann was a retired nurse. She now makes jewelry as a hobby. She works at food pantry in Safety Harbor.
Terry Sue enjoyed a vacation at the beach last month with Mary Louise. She had a birthday. She volunteered for Clearwater Jazz Holiday on Friday night with Susan and a friend from her condo.
Mary Louise also enjoyed her vacation with Terry Sue. She is enjoying being retired. It is good. Her personal Girls week was in September with her 4 daughters. (They all get together at a condo on the beach.)
Nancy Cusick introduced our speaker, Beverly White. Nancy has a great tenant in her new house. Her grandson turned 10. She went to Ohio where there were kids everywhere. She has done 5 recent trips.
Paula complimented Holiday Isles on their very successful District II meeting.
Pat Arbutine was very glad to be back from a successful heart procedure. (It needs to be called something more than that since it was so costly.)
Terry Sue requested prayers for Shawn with leukemia. We have supported him in past years. The leukemia had returned. He has approximately 3 weeks to live. |
